The Game in Short
Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette is a live dealer game based on European Roulette. If you don’t already know how to play this old and traditional game, I suggest checking out our article on how to play Roulette and win.
The big highlight of Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette is that it comes with four jackpots. By just playing as you normally would, a jackpot bonus can randomly trigger where one of these jackpots is guaranteed to be won through a mini-game. On average, the jackpots pay ₹25,000 from the smallest up to ₹5 crores from the largest. They aren’t affected by your stake. In other words, anyone can become a millionaire playing Roulette.
Additionally, the game also offers a bonus bet position which can not be found in any other Roulette game online. If the Roulette wheel stops on this position, a slot machine will appear. This will spin three times and every time three identical symbols appear on it, you win 5 – 100 times your bet. How much you cash in depends on the symbol.
In terms of entertainment, my personal opinion about Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette is that it’s quite fun, but could have been better. It’s not as social or action packed of a game as Lightning Roulette or Mega Fire Blaze Roulette. It’s much more laid-back, which to me is a downside.
To me, the big reason for playing the game is its jackpots. This is a good reason though. No other Roulette game allows you to win such massive amounts as Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette does. The possibility of becoming economically independent is always there and that on its own is always exciting. When the jackpot bonus triggers, you’re sure to be fired up.
The extra bonus bet of the game is also entertaining as it isn’t that hard to hit and it gives you the possibility of winning more than you usually would in traditional Roulette. Honestly though, I would prefer if the game didn’t have this bet because it actually lowers the RTP significantly. I would rather just play Roulette as it is normally played, with the added chance of hitting a jackpot.
On the plus side, the design of the game is neat. To me, this always adds a bit to the experience even if I don’t consciously think about it.
As Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette is played much like traditional Roulette, payouts for all normal bets are the same as they are in normal Roulette. Here, you can win anything from 1 – 35 times your stake. Then you have the extra bonus bet position with the slot which can pay up to 300 times your stake in best case scenario.
The jackpots are the crème de la crème. These have a starting value of ₹4,000, ₹40,000, ₹4 lakh and ₹80 lakh. In other words, this is the least they can pay. On average, they pay much more and currently the record for the biggest jackpot win sits at ₹8.6 crores.
The jackpots are global, which means that a portion (0.99%) of every bet placed by every player on every online casino will contribute to the jackpots.
While the potential winnings of the game are great, you must know that the game’s RTP of 95.73% is noticeably lower than many other Roulette versions. For instance, the traditional game of European Roulette has an RTP of 97.30%.
If it wasn’t for the extra bonus bet in Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette, the RTP in this game would also have been 97.30%. While the slot bonus which is triggered by this bet is a fun mechanic of the game, it is undoubtedly a bummer that it lowers the RTP by 1.57%. You’re expected to win less than you normally would. But then again, no other Roulette game can make you a millionaire.
Like any Roulette game, there are many strategies that can be used in Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette. I’m talking about systems such as Martingale. These can be fun to use if you’re looking to bet on just red/black, high/low, or odd/even. However, in difference to what some may claim, these strategies actually don’t make any difference on your long-term winnings.
A strategy that actually makes somewhat of a difference is playing Age of the Gods Bonus Roulette only when the jackpots are much higher than average. Since these jackpots contribute to the game’s RTP, you will earn yourself a slight advantage by letting other people increase the jackpots. The higher the jackpots are when you’re playing, the higher the RTP you’re playing with since if they trigger, you will win more.
Is it worth applying this strategy though for the extra RTP? I wouldn’t say so. If you want to chase the big winnings, play the game whenever you’re feeling lucky no matter the size of the jackpots.
