Super Sic Bo by Evolution Review

The Game in Short
Like classic Sic Bo, Evolution Gaming’s Super Sic Bo is played with three normal dice that have face values of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. On each game round, you place one or several bets on the outcome of these dice being rolled. The different bet options include the following:
Small or Big
Bet on the total value of the dice being small (4 – 10) or big (11 – 17).
Odd or Even
Bet on the total value of the dice being an odd or even number.
Double
Bet on two of the three dice showing the same number that you pick. For instance, bet that two sixes will be rolled.
Triple
Bet on all three dice showing the same number that you pick. For instance, bet that three sixes will be rolled.
Any Triple
Bet on all three dice showing the same number, without choosing a specific one. Any triple will win the bet.
Total Value
Bet on the total value of the three dice. For instance, the total being 4, 7, 12, or 17.
Two Dice
Bet on two of the dice showing the numbers you have picked. For instance, bet that both 1 and 6 will be rolled.
Single
Bet on a single number that you pick will be rolled. For instance, bet that number 1 will be rolled. You win if one die shows 1 and win more if two or all three show the chosen number.
Special Win Boosting Feature
What makes Super Sic Bo different from traditional Sic Bo is its random, win-boosting feature. On every game round, anything from 0 – 7 bet options will have their payouts increased.
For instance, instead of double paying 9x, it could be increased to 88x. Or, instead of triple paying 150x, it could be boosted to pay up to 1,000x.
This increased win potential comes at the cost of the initial payouts being slightly lower than in traditional Sic Bo. For instance, in traditional Sic Bo, a triple would pay 180x, but in Super Sic Bo it pays 150x, with the chance of being boosted to 1,000x.

Payouts
The payouts in Super Sic Bo range from 2x up to a maximum of 1,000x. In other words, if you bet R100, you could win anything from R200 up to R100 000 depending on what you bet on.
Below is a full breakdown of the payouts in the game, including the normal ones as well as the maximum payouts from the win boosting feature.
| Bet Option | Normal Payout | Boosted Payout (max) |
|---|---|---|
| Small / Big | 2x | – |
| Even / Odd | 2x | – |
| Double | 9x | 88x |
| Triple | 151x | 1,000x |
| Any Triple | 31x | 88x |
| Total 4 / 17 | 51x | 500x |
| Total 5 / 16 | 21x | 250x |
| Total 6 / 15 | 16x | 88x |
| Total 7 / 14 | 13x | 30x |
| Total 8 / 13 | 9x | 25x |
| Total 9 / 12 | 7x | 50x |
| Total 10 / 11 | 7x | 25x |
| Two Dice | 6x | 25x |
| Single | 2x / 3x / 4x | – / 20x / 88x |
It’s important to note that a boosted payout doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be the maximum payout. For instance, if triple receives a boost, it could be boosted to 250x or 500x and not necessarily the maximum of 1,000x.
Payouts in Super Sic Bo Compared to Classic Sic Bo
As previously mentioned, the boosted payouts in Super Sic Bo are at the cost of the initial payouts being slightly lower than in classic Sic Bo. This is illustrated in the table below which compares Super Sic Bo to classic Sic Bo provided by Playtech.
| Bet Option | Super Sic Bo | Classic Sic Bo |
|---|---|---|
| Small / Big | 2x | 2x |
| Even / Odd | 2x | 2x |
| Double | 9x | 11x |
| Triple | 151x | 181x |
| Any Triple | 31x | 31x |
| Total 4 / 17 | 51x | 61x |
| Total 5 / 16 | 21x | 31x |
| Total 6 / 15 | 16x | 18x |
| Total 7 / 14 | 13x | 13x |
| Total 8 / 13 | 9x | 9x |
| Total 9 / 12 | 7x | 7x |
| Total 10 / 11 | 7x | 7x |
| Two Dice | 6x | 7x |
| Single | 2x / 3x / 4x | 2x / 3x / 4x |
As you can see, it is not all bet options that are affected by lower payouts. It is also not a concern that the initial payouts are lower for some bets in Super Sic Bo as the boosted payouts more than make up for it.
RTP
The RTP in Super Sic Bo ranges from 95.02% – 97.22%. It is different for different bet options with some having a slightly higher RTP than others. The highest comes from the small/big and odd/even bets.
All in all, the RTP of the game is very high. As a comparison, the RTP in classic Sic Bo by Playtech ranges from 81.02% – 97.22%, whereas classic Sic Bo by Ezugi has an RTP range of 83.33% – 97.22%.
The RTP in Super Sic Bo is either substantially higher or the same for all bets, which makes this game much more profitable than classic Sic Bo.

Fun Factor
Super Sic Bo to me is a fantastic game that I keep coming back to every now and then. Whether we’re talking about this special version from Evolution Gaming or the classic game, I love Sic Bo for its fast-paced game rounds and many bet options that keep the gameplay experience interesting.
However, what makes Super Sic Bo a winner is the fact that the RTP is so much higher than in classic Sic Bo. I appreciate most live dealer games for the authentic experience they offer, but I can’t stand when the RTP is too low as I know that my chances of winning will be greatly reduced.
In classic Sic Bo, the RTP is honestly terrible. However, in Super Sic Bo it is very high and on par with most modern casino games. This is all thanks to the boosted payouts that can randomly appear.
While the boosted payouts increase the RTP, I also appreciate this feature for the extra unpredictability it adds to the game and, of course, the payouts that can become much higher than in classic Sic Bo.
Strategies
Super Sic Bo is a fairly complex game thanks to its many different bet options, which allow for many different strategies to be employed. These often come down to the level of risk you want to take – a low risk with a chance of winning small amounts or a high risk with a chance of getting huge payouts.
Best Return Strategy
The best return strategy maximizes your long-term winnings in the game. With this, you would only bet on small/big and odd/even as these are the options with the highest RTP of 97.22%. The downside of this strategy is the fact that payouts are limited to only double the amount you bet. It is also quite a boring strategy.
Low Volatile Strategy
A low volatile strategy makes use of bets that have a high probability of occurring. This includes small/big, even/odd, double, total of 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14, two dice and single. Betting on these options, in any combination you like, will regularly provide you with payouts. However, they will be somewhat limited – at least so compared to a high volatile strategy.
Without the boosted payout feature, the maximum you could win is 13 times your bet, while the boost could provide payouts up to 88x.
High Volatile Strategy
A high volatile strategy makes use of bets that have a low probability of occurring, but in turn, can pay out the most. These include betting on triple, any triple, and a total of 4, 5, 6, 15, 16, and 17. The chance of scoring a win will be 1 in 8 game rounds if you include all options and less if you only bet on some of them.
However, the minimum you will get paid by winning is 16x times your stake, and with the boosted payout feature, you could win up to 1,000x. This is a riskier strategy than the low volatile one and may result in your balance dropping quicker. However, it could also result in a sudden burst if you’re lucky.
The Strategy I Use
To me, online gambling is all about having fun so when I play Super Sic Bo I have no particular strategy but I mix and match many different bet options. With some options, I bet higher amounts, and with some, I bet lower. Normally, I bet more with those that are likely to occur and less with those that are rare.
Since I’m always on the hunt for the biggest wins, I make sure to include a couple of triples so I stand a chance of winning the maximum of 1,000x. Other than that, I just bet on what I feel like at the moment and I would suggest you do the same.
There is no particular strategy in Super Sic Bo that will magically make you win. It all comes down to luck.
Best Alternatives to Super Sic Bo
If you appreciate Super Sic Bo, I would also recommend checking out Lightning Dice by Evolution Gaming. It’s a very similar game, but a lot more fancy in its design, and also comes with a talkative game host that is much more chatty than the one in Super Sic Bo.
