Big Winners From Lottosmile India

Listed above are some of the big winners that Lottosmile has announced on their website. These people have mainly won from a site known as TheLotter. However, this site is owned by the very same company as Lottosmile India and operates more or less identically.

In terms of the authenticity of the winners, some have been confirmed by independent sources to be real. For instance, the ₹25.6 Crores that were won in 2015 by M. M. was covered widely in the news. Lottosmile India’s Ticket Prices

Above, I have listed six of the most popular lotteries to play online and their current ticket prices at Lottosmile India. I have also made a comparison to Lottoland and Lottofy, which in my opinion are two of the best lottery sites in India.

While ticket prices at Lottosmile India are higher than the two other sites compared, you must know that it's possible to get up to 45% discount on the price. I have covered this more thoroughly later in the review.

Lottosmile India Review – October 2023

Having played at and thoroughly researched Lottosmile India, my findings tell me that this is a quality lottery site best suited for those who want to receive real, scanned tickets on their purchases. In difference to many lottery platforms that only allow you to place a bet on the lotteries, Lottosmile will actually purchase a real, physical ticket on your behalf and send it to you as a scanned copy.

However, to me, Lottosmile India falls short for two reasons. Firstly, I find the ticket prices to be too high, as even with the maximum possible discount they are not competitive with some other operators. Secondly, UPI is not supported to pay with and although there are alternative methods, this is the most popular one in India.

Playing the Lotteries

With more than 30 different lotteries offered from nearly 20 different countries, there are plenty of options to try your luck at Lottosmile India. All of the biggest international lotteries such as the US Powerball and MegaMillions are available. As all tickets are real purchases, you also get all of the extra options that these lotteries come with. For instance, the Power Play feature in Powerball.

Lottosmile operates as a messenger service, which means that they have offices all around the world. When you buy a lottery ticket, a person in the country where the lottery is held will physically purchase this ticket for you, scan it and upload it to your account. This way, you’re always getting a real ticket as proof of ownership.

What I’ve appreciated about playing at Lottosmile are the many ways you can play a lottery. You can either purchase a ticket on your own, join a syndicate where you join a group of people to increase your chances of winning, or combine the two options through a bundle feature.

Additionally, lotteries can be subscribed to with tickets being automatically renewed for you. It’s also possible to purchase tickets for multiple draws at once, such as 10, 15, 25 and 52 draws.

What I don’t like about Lottosmile though, is the fact that some lotteries come with minimum buys. You won’t always be able to purchase a single ticket, but may have to buy 3 or 5.

Receiving Your Prizes

Unless you opt out of the service, an e-mail will be sent to notify you about any winnings that you make from a lottery at Lottosmile. Based on my experience, this e-mail goes out shortly after the results are in and is posted on the Lottosmile website. Should you win a big jackpot amount, you will also receive a phone call.

As prizes must be claimed in person by Lottosmile representatives in each country, the time it takes to receive the won money can vary. Small winnings are usually added to your account quickly. However, based on my findings, big prizes can take quite a while.

According to a Lottosmile employee that I spoke with, some prizes can take a few months up to a year before they are credited to the winner. How long it takes depends on the actual size of the money won, the lottery that was played and the rules of that particular lottery.

When it comes to the biggest jackpot winnings, these must be claimed by the player in person. For instance, if you win the MegaMillions jackpot, you could travel to the USA, receive your ticket from Lottosmile and then claim your prize. Alternatively, a local lawyer in the country could also pick up the prize on your behalf. According to Lottosmile, they will help you as much as possible in the process.

Trustworthiness

Operating since 2002, Lottosmile India is as real as it gets. My findings tell me that the site has a fantastic reputation among players. It has more than 3,000 reviews on Trustpilot with a score of 4 out of 5. This is extremely good. Usually, operators involved in online gambling get a mediocre score no matter how legit they. Players tend to complain about trivialities and things they are actually wrong about.

Lottosmile India is also licensed by the Isle of Man which is a strong license to have. This is a reputable license entity that oversees the operator to make sure players are protected when it comes to monetary transactions and to guarantee that winnings are received no matter how small or big.

Furthermore, Lottosmile India acts responsibly when it comes to problem gambling as daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits can be set on an account. This is always a good sign.

Customer Support

While I haven’t used the support of Lottosmile much, my limited experience and findings tell me that it’s great. First of all, agents are always available to assist you all around the clock. They can either be reached on a chat on the website itself or through WhatsApp at +356 7936 3536.

Secondly, the agents have always been very helpful and quick to reply when I’ve reached out, which unfortunately can’t be said about all lottery sites.

Lottery Promotions

When I first came across Lottosmile India, the promotions that they offer stood out to me. First of all, are two types of bonuses that can be claimed at any time:

• Subscribing to a lottery to receive every 10th ticket for free (equal to a 10% discount).
• Buying into several draws of a particular lottery at once to receive a 15% – 25% discount.

These two offers can’t be combined, so in terms of getting the best ticket prices, the best option is to go with multi-draw packages and buy into several draws at once.

In addition to the above, there’s also a promotional page at Lottosmile where additional discounts can be found from time to time. Then you also have a VIP program that any regular player can benefit from. I'll talk more about this shortly.

First, I must point out two things which are disappointing to me. You see, there is no welcome bonus at Lottosmile India, so as a new player signing up, you don’t receive anything extra. Secondly, while the discounts that can be had appear to be great, the lottery prices are much higher at Lottosmile than at a site such as Lottoland and the discounts don’t make up for it.

While I personally love bonuses, at the end of the day it is what I actually pay for each ticket that matters the most.

VIP Rewards

Lottosmile offers a 5-tier loyalty program where up to 20% discount can’t be had on ticket purchases. This discount is on top of any other discounts, such as the ones covered above.  

The VIP program runs monthly and is based on loyalty points. For every ₹70 your account is funded with, one loyalty point is received. At the end of each month, all points are reset to zero.
