Dubbed as Asia’s largest gambling and entertainment destination, Deltin Royale lives up to its name. A franchise of the Deltin Group, this cruise casino is one of Goa’s iconic landmarks and a well-known tourist destination.
It sprawls across 50,000 square feet of area organized in five floors on a swanky ship that floats atop River Mandovi. This offshore gaming vessel is often referred to as the classiest casino in India for all the right reasons.
Its 1000 gaming positions and 123 gaming tables offer players the best of Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Andar Bahar, Money Wheel and other international casino games. Dedicated rooms for Teen Patti and Poker are added attractions.
Its multi-cuisine restaurant serves global delicacies and buffet food. A bar cum restaurant with refreshing cocktails and munchies await on its weather deck. A dedicated whiskey lounge serves luxurious single malts and delectable finger foods. The casino has also installed a chaat counter for those who love Indian street food.
A Kids’ Zone has been provided for those travelling with children. Deltin Royale has a VIP section that caters to exclusive guests. With world-class entertainment shows organized every evening, you are in for a treat here.
Note: All packages at Deltin Royale include gaming offers, live entertainment, and unlimited food and drinks.
💖 Location, dedicated Poker and Teen Patti rooms, free chips, overall hospitality
💔 Quality of food, crowd at the gaming tables, withdrawal of money won from free chips
I recommend Big Daddy Casino for those who wish to experience the vibrant nightlife in Goa. Hosted on the specially commissioned refurbished Panamanian vessel – MV Lucky Seven, this party hub is easily one of the best gambling destinations in India with fun and food galore.
Operated by the famous Golden Globe Hotels Private Limited, Big Daddy Casino is spread across 5 levels – each brimming with entertainment and other luxuries.
Level 1 has a premium gaming zone, a gift shop and a kids’ room. Level 2 is all about high stakes gaming; it comes with a special Card Room for Flush, Poker, Teen Patti and Andar Bahar players, a VIP lounge area and a wellness spa by Tatva.
Level 3 is meant for VIP guests and has a Ruby Room for private gaming. Level 4 is where you can help yourself to scrumptious food and heavenly drinks at the casino’s restaurant cum bar. Finally, Level 5 is the weather deck that hosts a fully-loaded bar.
The gaming equipment at Big Daddy Casino is par those at Las Vegas and Macau. Spread over 50,000 square feet, the casino offers 114 gaming tables and over 900 gaming positions. More than 75 live performances are hosted here every night.
Fun fact: Big Daddy Casino is the only cruise casino in Goa which is a solo property. Its glorious history and present stature make it an Indian gambling destination truly worth visiting.
💖 Location, gift shop, kids’ room, standalone card rooms, refundable poker packages
💔 Limited access to top deck, unlimited food only on costlier packages, ticket cancellation policy
If you want to experience the Las Vegas high life in India, Casino Pride (Pride 1) is the gambling destination to be. Plush and happening, this is an affordable cruise ship floating on River Mandovi in Goa’s Panjim area.
Casino Pride is in the same league as its peers – Deltin Royale and Big Daddy Casino. Yet, it is easy on the wallet. Depending on the season you visit, the entry fee ranges anywhere from ₹1500 to ₹2500. You also get additional free chips to play games.
Owned by the Pride Group of Casinos and Hotels, this one extends over 30000 square feet of area that cover three levels. Level 1 is casino proper with a fully fledged gaming floor. Expect plenty of slot machines and table games of Indian and international origin.
Level 2 is the invite-only VIP zone filled with the choicest casino games that would appeal to any high roller. Level 3 is a 10000 square feet weather deck packed with an open-air restaurant, entertainment area, and kids’ zone. There’s even a chaat corner and a barbecue section for connoisseurs of great food.
Of course, the brightly lit interiors steal the show. The biggest attraction, however, is the lucky draw which is hosted every day at 2 AM. Lucky winners receive One-Time Play (OTP) chips, which they can use to play more games.
No wonder Casino Pride once bagged the coveted Indian Travel Awards as the best gaming property in India. This one deserves it!
💖 Location, pick up/drop-in facility, grand interiors, lucky draw at 2 AM, live events, food
💔 No online booking, Payment issues with bank cards, unlimited drinks only on gaming table
Majestic Pride is Casino Pride lite. If you are a punter on a shoestring budget, this gambling destination is your low-roller haven. Of course, it is certainly no match for the likes of Deltin Royale or even Casino Pride, so don’t expect too much. Yet, this one is worth a visit for those who seek low-cost entertainment.
Spread over 30000 square feet of area, this casino is home to 27 gaming tables that cover two full floors and an exclusive invite-only VIP section. Its exteriors and interiors make it look like a high-toned party destination, although the same is not reflected in its other facilities.
Its gaming selection is extensive with a decent mix of international and Indian gambling games. Fans of Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker, Andar Bahar, and Teen Patti would surely be delighted. The casino takes immense pride in its live entertainment events that range from international music and dance performances to groovy DJ nights. They’re not that terrific though.
A multi-cuisine restaurant on this ship casino serves global delicacies. The bar is well-stocked with house brand liquor which is served to you right on the gaming table. A bar and barbeque has also been set up on Casino Majestic Pride’s weather deck. It sounds fantastic, but like the entertainment, you get what you pay for. It’s average.
💖 Location, low entry fee, relatively small crowd of players, expensive-looking interiors
💔 Overall hospitality, food, unlimited drinks limited to house brand liquor, live entertainment
If you are looking for a casino in Goa near Baga beach, plan a visit to Casino Palms. This onshore casino is located on the Calangute-Baga road in North Goa’s Bardez area. Its unconventional location isn’t the only thing unique about it.
Casino Palms is a beginner’s haven that perhaps is no match to the biggies like Deltin Royale or Big Daddy Casino. However, its unflinching focus on slot machines and electronic tables marks it a casino out of the ordinary.
Owned by the Pride Group, this small-scale gambling destination resides inside the beachfront hotel – La Calypso. The entry fee is inexpensive and perhaps the cheapest among Goan casinos. That explains the lack of unlimited food, drinks or even live entertainment.
Two complimentary drinks, a few snacks and a single coupon for buffet lunch or dinner is handed out to each visitor. You don’t receive any OTP chips or bonuses. Visit it for pure gambling fun.
💖 Location, Low entry fee, compact gambling environment, interiors, food, lottery draw at 2 AM
💔 Game range, lack of unlimited food and drinks, bonuses and live entertainment
Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, Teen Patti, Andar Bahar, Rummy
Slots, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, Poker, Teen Patti, Andar Bahar, Paplu, Tai Sai
