The Game in Short
The basic of the game is to make as many winning lines as possible on a 5×5 bingo card that has 25 random numbers on it, ranging from 1 – 60. For each horizontal, vertical and diagonal line, a prize is awarded.
Up to four bingo cards can be purchased and a total of 20 numbered balls are randomly selected as winning numbers on each round. There are two types of cards to buy:
- Free space card: this has the center position of the card ticked off, making it easier to win.
- Chance card: this has an x10 win multiplier in the center position which will boost payouts.
Before numbers are selected, more free spaces and win multipliers can randomly be added to one or several bingo cards:
- Global multipliers: all winnings on a bingo card are boosted by x2 or x3.
- Line multipliers: a line is selected and if you win on it, payout is boosted by x20 – x50.
- Standard multiplier: a number is selected and if you win with it, payout is boosted by x10 – x20.
In addition to the bingo cards, a bet can be placed on two bonus positions. If the right balls are selected, this will trigger a monopoly board game bonus where you will get 3 or 5 dice rolls.
In the bonus, a monopoly guy will walk around a board with 40 positions on it. Most of these positions award cash prizes, with the prize being larger the further the guy walks. The dice rolls determine how far he will walk and if doubles are rolled, an extra dice roll is awarded.
Payouts and RTP
In Monopoly Big Baller, the maximum payout for the bingo cards is as follows:
- Free space card: 40x per winning line
- Chance card: 200x per winning line
In other words, 40 and 200 times the amount you stake.
The payouts can get pretty big when several multipliers interconnect with each other. For instance, if a bingo card with a line multiplier of x50 also includes a global multiplier of x3, this would triple the line multiplier and boost it up to x150.
While big, the biggest payouts in Monopoly Big Baller can be had in the monopoly board game bonus. This can pay up to 1,000 times the amount you stake. Here are all the positions and payouts in the bonus:
|Property||Cash prize||1x – 500x|
|Chance card||Cash prize or fee||up to10x|
|Community chest||Cash prize or fee||up to 10x|
|Income tax||Reduce winnings by 10%||–|
|Super tax||Reduce winnings by 20%||–|
|Go to Jail||Roll doubles to get out||–|
|Pass GO||Property payouts doubled||–|
At the beginning of each bonus, properties will have their payouts randomly boosted. This can result in the last property of the board receiving a payout of 500x.
Now, if you manage to lap the board by rolling high and a lot of doubles, this would double all property payouts. Thus, the last property could potentially pay 1,000x.
The RTP in Monopoly Big Baller is as follows:
Bingo cards: 96.10%
Bonus with 3 rolls: 95.80%
Bonus with 5 rolls: 95.20%
The reason for 5 rolls having a lower RTP than the 3 rolls is that it’s much more difficult to trigger this bonus. It requires the correct 5 balls to be selected, while the 3 rolls bonus only requires 3.
I have many favorite games and Monopoly Big Baller is definitely one of them. In my opinion, it is perfectly designed. First of all, it looks fantastic. It offers plenty of high-quality animations and while graphics aren’t the most important thing in a game, it does add to the experience.
Secondly, there are plenty of features in the game that can make a game round all the more exciting. It is anything but a one-dimensional experience as several types of multipliers and free positions can be added to a bingo card. Not to mention the monopoly board game bonus that can be triggered. I love this.
Thirdly, the nature of being a bingo game is something I appreciate. Instead of money wheels or other game shows where results are instantly presented, the excitement is prolonged as all of the 20 balls that are selected matter. This is also true for the monopoly board game bonus as you get several dice rolls where each roll is likely to earn you a cash prize.
Last but not least, it is possible to win quite a lot of money in the game. Of course, most game rounds will only award a small prize, but the fact that you can win up to 1,000x if you get lucky is great. I love such unexpectancy.
Like most casino games, strategies in Monopoly Big Baller are quite limited. If you want to maximize your chances of making a long-term profit, the best play is to only bet on the bingo cards and not the bonus.
This is because the bingo cards have a slightly higher RTP (96.10% compared to 95.80% and 95.20%). This means that for every ₹100 staked, you would be expected to win ₹0.30 or ₹0.90 more by not playing the bonus games.
I don’t recommend this strategy though. Not only is it a marginal difference, but the bonus games are a ton of fun and can result in the biggest winnings in the game if you’re lucky. The strategy I personally use is to bet on both types of bingo cards (chance and free space), as well as both bonus positions.
If you want to win more often rather than winning big, a strategy you might want to consider is to only bet on the free space bingo card and the 3-roll bonus. On the other hand, if you want to play riskier in order to win more, you could bet only on the chance card and the 5-roll bonus. Personally, I don’t like leaving out any of the bonuses though. It is really not fun having to sit through a bonus without any chance of winning and at the end of the day, gambling is all about entertainment.
If you want to play Monopoly Big Baller, the game is available at more or less all online gambling sites.
