The Game in Short

In Mega Ball, you purchase one or several bingo cards with the hope of making as many winning lines as possible on them. A single line pays a prize, but the more you get, the bigger the prize.

Each bingo card comes with 24 random numbers that are ticked off whenever they’re pulled by a machine. This machine holds a total of 51 numbered balls where 20 normal ones are pulled on each game round.

After these balls, a bonus wheel will spin to determine a win multiplier ranging from x5 – x100. Following this spin, one or two bonus balls will be pulled. If any of these bonus balls contribute to a winning line on a bingo card, all payouts on that card will be boosted by the selected win multiplier.

Fun Factor

If you’re into bingo, I would say that Mega Ball is as good as it gets. It’s quite a simple game, but offers a ton of excitement as bingo cards can go from being bad to being absolutely fantastic in just a few numbers. On top of that is the bonus round which adds additional thrill by possibly boosting payouts.

The game is stylish and unique. There’s really nothing like it, which I appreciate as it can add to the versatility of an online gambling session. It’s also a social and fast-paced game, which to me is a plus. A round only takes about 80 seconds and there are always people writing in a chat, which the host of the game is constantly talking with.

I really think that Mega Ball is a well-thought-out and well-executed game. It comes with great features that enhance gameplay. For instance, if you don’t like the numbers on a card, you can simply reroll them. If you buy multiple cards, the ones that are currently performing the best will automatically be highlighted.

Mega Ball’s payout potential is undoubtedly one of its strengths as only a very few games can pay as much as this one. If you hit six lines on a bingo card, this will earn you a minimum of 10,000 times your bet. Now, if a sixth line is completed by a bonus ball, the random win multiplier will also apply. In the best-case scenario, this multiplier is x100, which means that you would get paid 1 million times your stake.

This happening is of course incredibly rare, to say the least. If your purchase only a single bingo card, the odds are 1 in 13.4 billion game rounds. However, there are plenty of other great payouts to be had in the game. Hitting just 3 lines pays a minimum of 50x and if you add the win multiplier to that, it has the potential to pay 5,000x.

While I love these potential payouts, what I don’t like about the game is the RTP. It’s too low for a modern game. Playing optimally, the RTP is 95.40%. It’s not the only casino game that has a mediocre RTP and it’s not the end of the world. However, when you compare it to Blackjack, Cash or Crash and Fan Tan where you can play with more than 98.50% RTP, it is a bit disappointing.

Like many live dealer games, the RTP of Mega Ball varies depending on how you play, which means that there are strategies that can be used. To maximize your chance of making a profit, the optimal way to play is to only buy a single bingo card on each game round. You will then reach the maximum RTP of 95.40%.

If you buy additional cards, the RTP can be lowered down to 94.61%. This is because when you buy multiple cards, they will not have the exact same numbers on them, which means that you’re less likely to win on all of your cards. You are, however, much more likely to win something during a game round the more bingo cards you buy.

Playing with multiple cards is probably a lot more entertaining than just playing with a single one. Thus, you have to decide if it’s worth that 0.79% extra RTP to only play singles. It probably isn’t.

Another strategy in the game is to limit the amount you bet on each card. This is because the maximum payout of the game is capped at ₹5 Crore. In other words, no matter how much you win in theory, you will never get paid more than this amount.

While it’s very unlikely to reach the game’s maximum payout potential, a single bingo card can in best case scenario pay 1 million times the amount you bet. This means that if you bet any more than ₹50 on a bingo card and you happen to hit the jackpot, you would not receive all winnings.

For instance, if you bet ₹100 and win 1 million times the bet amount, this would be ₹10 Crore. However, as the max win in Mega Ball is capped at ₹5 Crore, you would only receive half of your winnings.

As a low stakes player, it is very difficult to reach the cap of the game. However, if you play for high stakes and purchase multiple bingo cards, this is something that you should keep in mind.
