The Game in Short

K-Pop Roulette is a similar game to traditional roulette where the goal is to guess what numbers will be selected on each game round, randomly decided by a roulette wheel. There are 37 numbers in total, 18 of them being black, 18 being red and 1 being green (check this article to learn more).

The unique thing about K-Pop Roulette is its betting options that are a bit different than traditional roulette. Below is a comparison of the two versions:

Lucky NumberX

Odd Number
High NumberX
Low NumberX

Black Number

Compared to traditional roulette, there are no column or dozen bets, high or low bets, split bets, street bets, line bets, or corner bets in K-Pop Roulette.

It is also not possible to bet on any single number as it is in most roulette games. Instead, one number will be randomly selected to be the lucky number on each game round which you are able to place a bet on. You can also always bet on the green 0.

As for the Diamond, Heart, Star, and Moon bets, these are exclusive to K-Pop roulette and cover a total of 9 numbers each.

Payouts and RTP

The maximum payout in K-Pop Roulette is 36 times the amount you bet, which is the same as in traditional roulette. The RTP is also the same, sitting at 97.30% for all the different bet types.

Bet TypePayoutRTP
Red / Black2x97.30%
Odd / Even2x97.30%
Diamond / Heart / Star / Moon4x97.30%
Lucky Number36x97.30%

While the maximum payout is low compared to many modern roulette variations that can pay over 1,000 times the amount you bet, the RTP in K-Pop Roulette is considered high. Most casino games have an RTP of 95% – 97% even though there are a few that can go above 99%, such as Blackjack and Video Poker.

The 97.30% RTP in K-Pop Roulette means that in the long run, you are expected to win ₹97.3 for every ₹100 bet that you place.

Fun Factor

K-Pop Roulette to me is a very disappointing game that doesn’t add anything that would make me want to play it over traditional roulette or modern roulette variations such as XXXTreme Lightning Roulette or Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Roulette

The only thing the game has going for it is its slightly different and simplified bet options, unique background music, and flashy neon colors. But none of this is anything special or spectacular.

If the graphics and music were outstanding, that might have been a selling point along with the different bet options, but they are not. I don’t think it’s a bad game. I just don’t think it brings anything to the table compared to what already exists.

Since every bet in K-Pop Roulette has the same RTP, there are no winning strategies that can be applied exclusively to this game. No matter which bet you place, you are expected to win the same amount in the long run.

However, the zero and lucky number bets are much more volatile than the others as the odds of winning them are only 2.7%. This means that in the short run, you are less likely to win from these bets compared to the other ones. On the other hand, when you do win with them, you receive a much larger payout.

If you only bet on red, black, odd, or even, it is possible to use traditional roulette strategies in K-Pop Roulette such as Martingale, D’Alembert, Fibonacci, and Paroli. If used correctly, some of these can heavily improve your odds of ending a roulette session with a profit. However, they still don’t change the RTP of the game, which means that in the long run, you would still win the same amount of money.
