  2. LeoVegas – Best mobile cricket site in the world
  3. Bons – Best cricket bookie for high rollers
  4. Mostbet – Best site for live streaming cricket
  5. Casumo – Offering a superb cricket betting app
  6. Betway – Most betting options on cricket
  7. Pure Win – Very valuable cricket bonus
  8. Sportsbet.io – Bet on cricket with crypto as well as fiat
  9. Royal Panda – Get 5% bonus on every deposit
  10. Betwinner – Cricket betting paired with other products

1. 10Cric

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • Popular Indian centric bookmaker
  • Regular cricket promotions
  • Most cricket bets can be cashed out early
  • Weekday withdrawals are handled very fast
Cons
  • High wagering on welcome bonus

Operating since 2019, 10Cric is arguably one of the most popular cricket betting sites in India. It launched with Indian players in mind and as a result, their focus on cricket is very strong. This is evident from a wide selection of matches and markets, and the fact that Chris Gayle from the West Indies is their ambassador.

Promotional offers specifically made for cricket are also offered on a regular basis, which is a big highlight of the site. Payment methods are adapted to Indians and include UPI among many others. While the welcome bonus isn’t the most enticing compared to some other cricket betting sites, there are definitely many reasons for signing up with 10Cric.

2. LeoVegas

NOTE THAT LEOVEGAS NO LONGER ACCEPTS PLAYERS FROM INDIA

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • One of the most reputed brands in the world
  • Have won multiple gambling awards
  • Mobile focused cricket betting site
  • Lucrative odds boost on combination bets
Cons
  • Not optimal navigation on desktop

Often praised as one of the best mobile betting sites in the world, LeoVegas is generally uncontested when it comes to quality. They’re known for their impeccable standards which have won them multiple gambling awards since they launched in 2012. Several of these have been rewarded for their mobile friendliness. (see: best mobile casinos) The site is created with a mobile-first approach, prioritizing convenience for mobile users.

While a wide variety of different bets can be placed in a ton of cricket leagues, the site stands out for its lucrative combination bet promotion. By simply placing 3 bets with odds 1.30 or higher as a combination, you earn 10% extra if you win. This profit boost can go all the way up to 50% on any qualifying cricket bet.

3. Bons

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • Huge welcome bonus amount (up to ₹2 lakh)
  • A ton of Indian friendly payment methods
  • Weekly betting tournaments
  • Lucrative loyalty program for bettors
Cons
  • High wagering requirement on welcome bonus
  • Betting tournaments only benefit high rollers

Highly focused on Indian players, Bons is a bookmaker especially great for high rollers. While the wagering requirements are high (30x bonus + deposit on min odds 1.40), the welcome bonus of up to ₹2 lakh is way bigger than most other cricket betting sites in India. Betting tournaments are also running on a regular basis, which is a rare thing to find. These are designed to benefit high rollers.

Bons also stands out for its loyalty program which is great for cricket bettors. Whether you win or lose, every placed bet will earn you a cash reward equal to 0.05% – 0.25% of the bet amount. In addition to this, a cashback from 5% – 12% is also rewarded on your net losses.

4. Mostbet

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • Live-streaming on cricket
  • Fun achievements that earn free bets
  • Random jackpot every hour
  • Cricket bets can be insured
Cons
  • Combination bets are required to wager welcome bonus
  • Payment methods limited to Paytm, UPI and Crypto

Launched in 2009, Mostbet does a lot of things right when it comes to Indian cricket betting. Along with a heap of matches to bet on from just about any cricket league, some of them can be watched live streamed directly on the site. This is a perk that only a few other platforms are offering.

Unique about the site is also a betting jackpot that is randomly won by any player every hour. Here, more than ₹1 lakh is rewarded as a prize. Mostbet is also offering players achievements that can be completed, earning them free bets on cricket or any other sport. This is not only rewarding but a fun feature too. A good number of bonuses are offered as well, including a free bet on every 5th, 10th and 15th placed bet, as well as an insurance option on cricket bets. This insurance feature is quite a rare one, allowing you to get some money back on your lost bets.

5. Casumo

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • Highly trustworthy brand licensed by MGA
  • Many payment methods, including UPI
  • Superb mobile betting app available
  • Regular bonuses to loyal players
Cons
  • Few sport promos apart from loyalty rewards

Operating since 2012, Casumo is known for being one of the most reliable and enjoyable gambling sites. It holds a much-respected license from MGA and is praised by many players all over the world. With a superb mobile app that can be used for cricket betting, several similarities with LeoVegas can be seen.

What makes Casumo unique though is their loyalty program where almost all bonuses for cricket betting will be earned. This program works in favor of all players. Simply put, you will receive exclusive deposit bonuses added to your player account based on how much you’re betting. The more you bet, the more rewards.

6. Betway

Pros
  • Enormous selection of cricket bets
  • Own cricket team that compiles odds
  • Old and trusted cricket betting site
  • Bet creator for cricket
  • Boosted odds on cricket
Cons
  • No loyalty program for sports

Having its own team that creates markets and compiles odds, MGA-licensed Betway stands out for its incredible selection of betting options on cricket. While many sites are offering a wide selection, this is the one to pick if you want the best variety in your cricket betting experience.

Hand in hand with the markets is a bet creator which is a rare feature to find with cricket. This allows you to combine any cricket markets you want in the same betting slip, which usually isn’t possible. Launched in 2006, Betway also regularly offers boosted odds on cricket matches, giving you the potential to win more than you would from other sites.

7. Pure Win

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • Most valuable welcome bonus
  • Support in English and Hindi
  • Weekly free bet promo on cricket
  • Live streaming on cricket
Cons
  • Support is not always available

Operating since 2019, Pure Win doesn’t have the largest welcome package, but it is undoubtedly the most valuable one. The bonus is a free bet of up to ₹10,000 which only comes with a 1x wagering requirement. This is incredibly low compared to other cricket betting sites. A must-grab if you ask us.

Pure Win also stands out for its fantastic focus on Indian players, allowing customer support to be reached in Hindi, in addition to English. To enhance the cricket betting experience, some matches are also live streamed on site, which is a rare sight at Indian bookies.

There’s anything but a shortage of matches to bet on and a wide variety of markets can be found. Additionally, all placed bets can be cashed out early if you wish to secure profits prior to a match ending.

8. Sportsbet.io

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • Multi-currency betting accounts supported
  • Bet with rupees or 7+ cryptocurrencies
  • Win up to ₹2,000 in free quizzes (weekly)
  • Community to talk with other cricket bettors
Cons
  • Fees on some payment methods
  • No welcome bonus is available

Sportsbet.io is the cricket betting site to choose if you want to get social with other players or have a requirement of using several currencies. Active bettors are able to join discussions in a forum hosted on the site. This is a neat and unique feature that can be used to share betting tips.

Another rare feature is the fact that your account can hold multiple currencies. At any time, you can switch between Rupees, Euro, USD or Crypto. This is particularly great for those who have bitcoins laying around.

Players looking for freebies will also appreciate a weekly quiz where ₹2,000 is to be won if you answer all 4 questions correctly. Unlike other cricket betting sites, Sportsbet.io does, however, not offer any welcome bonus. Unless Muchbetter or Bitcoins is used as a payment method, a 3% fee is also charged on deposits. While rare, this is, unfortunately, an unpleasant feature.

9. Royal Panda

NOTE THAT ROYAL PANDA NO LONGER ACCEPTS PLAYERS FROM INDIA

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • 5% bonus on all deposits
  • Site made with mobile users in mind
  • Many payment methods available
  • Reputable brand licensed by MGA
Cons
  • Few promotional offers

Owned by the same company as LeoVegas, Royal Panda is a mobile-centered cricket betting site that offers a completely unique feature. All players receive a 5% bonus on all of their deposits and there is no cap to how much can be received. The wagering requirement may not be the best, but it’s quite fair (3x based on the deposited amount with no minimum odds to it).

Running since 2014, the site is best suited for mobile cricket bettors who are looking for simplicity. While a wide selection of cricket matches can be bet on, there isn’t much more to be said. The site is stylistically pure with few promotional offers and features. They’ve kept it simple. Don’t mistake this for mediocrity though. Holding a reputed license from MGA, the brand offers incredible player support.

10. Betwinner

Pros
  • Wide range of cricket matches and markets
  • Live streaming of cricket matches
  • Huge amount of gambling products
  • All payment methods you can think of
  • Many sport bonuses and features
Cons
  • Customer support can be very slow
  • Site can appear as overwhelming

Launched in 2018, Betwinner is the go-to place for players who want to pair great cricket betting with other types of gambling. The site offers a massive array of products and features like no other on our list. There is so incredibly much to be found that it can actually come across as too much to navigate through.

This abundance does, however, act in favor of the cricket experience. Along with a ton of matches and markets to bet on, video streams of live cricket matches can be found. Promotions also come in plenty, with the ability to insure bets to get money back if you lose and betting with borrowed money from unsettled bets being two rare ones.

Betting on Cricket From a Mobile App

Many cricket betting sites in India have developed apps that can be downloaded to a mobile device. These can be convenient to use. However, you must know that cricket apps are usually not required at all. The vast majority of cricket betting sites have mobile responsive platforms that work just fine without an app.

Using an app, you don’t have to rely on a browser though, which can make the betting experience a bit more stable. With that being said, there’s usually no noticeable difference between using an app or not. Thus, we would suggest picking the cricket site that is best suited for you whether it supports an app or doesn’t.

This Is How Cricket Is Played

Here is a short explanation of how cricket is played in 8 simple steps:

  1. One team starts hitting the ball and running, while the other team throws and catches the ball.
  2. If the ball is hit outside of the field, the hitting team scores a point.
  3. Once the ball is hit, the hitting player and another player from the same team will also run between two posts. With every lap made between the posts, points are scored.
  4. The team that’s throwing and catching must prevent the hitting team from scoring. If the ball is hit, they must return it as quickly as possible to one of the posts.
  5. If the throwing team makes successful throws that aren’t hit by the opposing team, they score a point.
  6. If a player that is running between posts isn’t by one when the ball is returned, he is eliminated from the round. Thus, he can no longer hit.
  7. Each team will get 50 rounds consisting of 300 valid throws per match, or, in some cases two times 50. Either way, the teams switch sides after 50.
  8. Once all rounds are played, the team with the most points is declared the winner.

Terminology in Cricket

Bowling: throwing the ball, while bowler is the person throwing it.

Batting: hitting the ball, while batsman is the person hitting it.

Run: what scoring points are called.

Wicket: the posts players run between, which the catching team must also return the ball to.

Dismissal: word for being eliminated from a round.

Over: six throws that are valid.

Inning: a game round consisting of 50 overs. Teams switch sides after each inning.

Wide: a throw that isn’t qualified because it’s too difficult for the batter to reach.

Bye: a successful throw where the ball has not been hit by the batsman or has hit the batsman.

Leg bye: when the batsman misses the ball, but it hits the batsman (thus qualifies) and the batting team manages to run between the wickets.

Four: four points scored when the hit ball touches the ground and bounces or rolls out of the field.Six: six points scored when the hit ball goes out of the field without touching the ground.
